The STMicroelectronics IIS2DULPX intelligent digital 3-axis linear accelerometer is a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) with a dedicated high-g accelerometer for intensity impact and shock detection. The device has features of a finite state machine (FSM), always-on antialiasing filtering, and a machine learning core (MLC) with an analog hub/Qvar sensing channel and adaptive self-configuration (ASC). The FSM and MLC with ASC deliver outstanding, always-on, edge processing capabilities to the IIS2DULPX. The analog hub/Qvar sensing channel defines a new degree of system optimization. The IIS2DULPX MIPI I3C® target embedded 128-level FIFO buffer and interface complete a set of features that make this accelerometer a reference in terms of system integration from the standpoint of the bill of materials, processing, or power consumption.
The IIS2DULPX accelerometer is ideal for industrial IoT and factory automation, asset tracking, portable healthcare devices and hearing aids, antitampering devices, wireless sensor nodes, appliances and robotics, and motion-activated functions for wearables.
